In Shamanic training, a practitioner learns a system to focus intention, and to allow the spirits to use their energetic body as a bridge. This brings direct spiritual healing to the client. The system gives the practitioner steps to follow so that the healing is complete - which includes pulling out the problematic energy, inputting healing power, and blanketing the client with the ongoing guidance of their own personal spirit guides.

By nature, Shamanic work is dynamic and flowing, and never the same thing twice. Each session is directed by the Spirits, and the way each session individually unfolds is as much a teaching for the practitioner as it is a miraculous energetic change for the client!

AR103: Level 1 Animal Reiki

Reiki is a gentle hands-on balancing technique. The channeling of universal energy balances and realigns the chakras or energy centers in the body on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Reiki works with the life force to help with the natural healing process within all living things.

Animals are very open to the healing energy of Reiki. It can be used alone or as a complementary therapy along with traditional western and veterinary medicine. Reiki is ideal for use with both animals and humans because it is gentle and non-invasive, yet it yields powerful results.

This class will give you instructions on the art of Reiki to be used with animals and their humans. The goal of the course is to focus on and help heal human/animal relationships, and integrate the wisdom and insights of the animals into our interconnected journeys as we learn Reiki as a healing art. Additional intuitive healing aspects to support the core Reiki teaching are presented and incorporated into the course.

Regular Reiki sessions will help to enhance and maintain both your animal’s health and overall well-being, as well as your own.

SH202: Level 2 Shamanic Animal Healing

The second course introduces you to core shamanic healing practices of illness extraction and compassionate power retrieval. These cornerstone practices are the basis of most shamanic healing techniques. To excel in them you will need to have strong footing in non ordinary reality and be able to enlist the help of a variety of helping spirits. This course will give you experience in creating your sacred space in both realities, and will help you cross between the worlds with confidence. You will also learn to cross other spirits between the worlds as you learn to escort the dead to their families beyond.

PetMassage 7-Day Foundation Workshop
This Seven-Day Foundation Workshop is an excellent beginning to your hands-on learning experience. We acknowledge that no one can become an “expert” at anything in just seven days. However, this course is a good preparation to become adept at the basic skills of PetMassageTM. Learn to help your own dogs. And train to create your successful start-up PetMassageTM business. To prepare for this workshop, you will study the Effective PetMassageTM for Dogs DVD’s and Manual, and 2 books, Creating & Marketing Your Animal Massage Business and Dog Anatomy Coloring Atlas. Along with your life experience, this is your foundation for the volume of information you will receive through (discussion style) lectures and individual, hands-on instruction working with dogs. We discuss, demonstrate, and practice and then you return-demonstrate your understanding and practice of massage, energy and body mechanics, theory and techniques, legal issues, business ethics, and marketing. This course has been described as a personal development and enrichment class through the medium of canine bodywork. Movement and breathing exercises expand your sensory and spiritual awareness and develop healthy body mechanics. The instruction is supportive, encouraging and geared to help you to discover and develop your own personal massage form. The course includes modules on anatomy, physiology and behaviors of the dog, the affect of PetMassageTM on body systems, ethics and business marketing strategies. Also included is a field trip to the ASPCA to hone your skills while connecting with the dogs there in temporary residence. A Certificate of Completion is awarded for The Seven-day PetMassageTM for Dogs Foundation Workshop.

Workshops have small classes – usually eight to twelve students. They are about 30% lecture, 60% hands-on, 10% playing with dogs and 100% growth and enjoyment. Lectures and demonstrations use models, charts, videos, other text references and the class syllabus.

Animal Reiki Level Two Workshop
Animal Reiki Level Two Workshop
In this class you will continue on your healing path with Reiki and continue your work with animals. The focus of this class is on more advanced traditional Japanese meditations and Reiki practices. This course is unique because we focus on both humans and animals.

Day 1 Participants will receive the three level II attunements and will be taught three Reiki symbols and their mantras. Building on what was learned in Level I, students will learn more exercises to help increase the flow and level of energy in themselves. We will practice group energy healing, long distance healing and much more. Students receive the level II manual.

Day 2 Students will learn how to offer long distance Reiki to animals as well as continue their practice and experience with in-person Reiki with animals. Level II students will develop their intuition when working with Reiki. Upon completion of day two students will receive the Level II R   		November 13-14, 2010

Part 1 (3.5 hours):
Introduction to the essentials on how to get in touch with animals telepathically. Discover your blocks to communicating with animals and the levels of communication possible. Learn how to experience animals' perspectives, how you may have already communicated telepathically with animals, and how to expand on that. Enjoy exercises that open your heart, increase your awareness and understanding of animals and your receptivity to telepathic communication. Deepen your communion with all of life.

For Part 1, you do not need to bring an animal companion or photographs.

Part 2 (3.5 hours):
Learn how to quiet and focus your attention when being with animals. Practice opening the channel to get across to animals and to receive what they communicate telepathically in thoughts, images, impressions, feelings, messages.

AC114: Wisdom of the Whales

Most of us seem to have certain animal species with whom we connect much more deeply than others--animals who call to our souls in ways that no others can. This is how it is for me with the whales. They are my ancestral family and my spiritual guides, I love them beyond measure. Whether we refer to the animals with whom we have such profound relationships as our power animals, spirit guides, teachers, healers or family isn’t what’s important. What does seem to be important is our openness and willingness to enthusiastically yet humbly discern their important messages, and to apply that learning into the daily fabric of our lives.

I have been talking with the whales for twenty-one years--sometimes for my own personal guidance (or just to chat!), sometimes to serve as a translator for individuals to hear the guidance whales want to offer them, sometimes to help whales in distress, and sometimes to bring messages from the whales to groups of people. This class is an opportunity to share some of these messages as well as to help you connect personally with the whales. The information will be augmented by over one hundred stunning photographs of humpback whales.   		Monday evenings (2 weeks), beginning December 6, 2010
